Whatever your health and wellness goals are - losing weight, feeling better, building muscle, getting energized, and more - I am here to help you achieve them. I have a passion for helping people and I want to help you. There are two main aspects of health that I assist you with: nutrition and exercise.
You can eat good tasting food and still be healthy. Losing weight and getting healthy can be fun and enjoyable. Learning how to prepare and locate healthy and good tasting food is the key. For instance, you might not like eating raw veggies. What about veggies in a salad with a splash of salad dressing you enjoy, or a veggie platter with small amounts of a tasty dip you like? You can still eat burgers, just learn how to cook burgers without all of the added vegetable oil that restaurants tend to pile on - or identify restaurants that cook food in a healthier way. Also, one of easiest ways to get healthier is to drink more water, because most of us are dehydrated to certain degree.
Health is very individualized. What is healthy for some people isn't healthy for others. For instance, whole grains are widely considered to be healthy, except for a lot of people the anti-nutrients cause major digestion problems. Dairy can be healthy; but a lot of people are lactose intolerant. Saturated fat is generally fine in moderation, but for a small group of the population, it raises their cholesterol significantly. I want you to gain self-awareness of how specific food affects you. Does it make you feel energetic or lethargic, calm or stressed out, etc? Does your diet make your energy levels go for a roller coaster ride?
Same thing with exercise. Basic exercises such as squats, lunges, jumps, bench press, pull ups, bent over rows, jogging, etc. are generally good. However, if certain exercises hurt, alter the form or stop doing them completely. You've got to find exercise you can enjoy doing for the long term.
